DROMINTEE WIN SCOR CLUB OF THE YEAR!!!

Dromintee participated in the Armagh County Championships of Scór Sinsear on Sunday night. Both Dromintee Céilí and Set dancing teams were crowned county champions and will go on to represent their club and county in the Ulster Semi- finals in Glengormely on Sat.

Dromintee ballad group and solo singer were unfortunately beaten on the night, but they represented their club well in two competitions of very high standard.

The following are the competitors who will participate in the Ulster Semi-finals on Sat

Rince Fóirne/ Céilí dancing: Edel Garvey, Paula-Ann Toner, Danielle Lynch, Ciara McCoy, Seamus Fearon, Tony Fearon, Miceal Fearon and Turlough O'Neill

Rince Seit/ Set dancing: Eileen Phillips, Laura Donnelly, Bronagh Donnelly, Ciara McCoy, Raymie Carroll, Tony Fearon, Miceal Fearon and Turlough O'Neill

The best news on the night was that Dromintee were given the title of Scór club of the year 2010. This a tremendous achievement and a great recognition of the work put in to Scór.

Congratulations to everyone involved in Scór in Dromintee and especially to ALL the competitors in both scór Na nÓg and Scór Sinsear.

Fight Night a huge success

The event was a sell out almost 1 week ahead of the 16th January - a credit to the organisers, Dromintee GAC Men's Senior Football Team. The running of the night was as impressive as the line-up.

The DVD is eagerly anticipated, and there will be a launch night in Dromintee GAC Club during February. Full report below.
